Best for: Most adult cats, kittens, petite breeds. If your cat curls into a tight ball when sleeping, Regular gives them the snug, enclosed feel they're looking for. Cats who weigh under 9 lbs tend to prefer this size because the walls stay close enough to feel like a real den — not an empty room.
Jumbo (24" × 24" × 11") — For cats 9–18 lbs
Best for: Maine Coons, Ragdolls, large breeds, cats who stretch out, and multi-cat homes where two cats share. The 11-inch height means even big cats can sit up inside without pressing against the top. If your cat sleeps stretched out rather than curled, go Jumbo.
Not sure? Go Jumbo. A slightly bigger den still feels enclosed and safe. A too-small den gets ignored. When in doubt, size up — your cat will thank you.

It was easy to put together and in my studio apartment, it fits perfectly in a corner.The only thing I'd warn other cat owners about is that it's a *pain* to get the critter out if they don't want to go, because if they go to the very back of the cave, you can't reach them unless you unzip the top layer and pry them out from the top, which really agitated my little guy. This isn't a design flaw of the product, just something to keep in mind if your cats are prone to running for it as soon as they see the carrier: block off access to the cat cave first!
